My background is simple. I was 8 yrs. old when I went down to the Dominican Republic as a Missionary Kid. That is where I lived for two years. When I was down there the bubble of my false reality popped. I realized the world wasn't in as good of a condition as I thought. I felt a calling to help, especially in third-world countries.
12 years later and that calling still stands. I am currently involved in my church with Bible quizzing and I have just been accepted to Word of Life Bible Institute to attend next year after I get my AA in Psychology at Daytona State College. I have been in contact with Word of Life and asking questions and learning about the school for about a year now and I am confident this is the next step in my future to become a third-world missionary. After much prayer and thought, I have decided to continue my path with Word of Life and after Liberty. This is following praying and learning about other amazing colleges such as Crown's college, Toccoa falls College, and Trinity College of Florida. All amazing Christian colleges, however I feel led to Word of Life and Liberty. I will spend year one of Word of Life in it's extension campus here in Florida, and after that, I shall spend year two at their main campus in Pottersville, New York.
I am blessed to have two amazing parents who support me and encourage me each step of the way, there's no way I could have ever gotten this far without them. I am blessed to have an amazing church and friends who also support me. I look forward to see what the Lord has in store for me and will continue to update as I go along.
